I'm back. At least for the moment. I can not promise when my next post will be. This sounds rude, but there are more important matters to take care of than entering a post on my blog. Please don't take me wrong....... I DO love that I have blog friends that read my blog.
I have so much I want to tell you, but so short in opportunities to write.
Starting with ...........Thoughts during Valentine's Day ........ the "big holidays" (4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) are easier to deal with because I was surrounded with family and friends. It's the "couple's holidays" that are harder to cope with as being a widow now. Of "couple's holidays", I'm referring to New Year's Eve and Valentine's Day. These are nights and days that are suppose to be a special time spent with Your Loved One. I'm just asking you to please take a moment to say a short prayer for the millions of widows and widowers when a Couple's holiday approaches. ALWAYS appreciate and treasure your living Loved One.........before it's too late.
On March 22nd, Meg and Lilly had their FIRST HAIRCUT. O.K., it was a TRIM, no drastic cutting, just evened up the straggly ends. These pictures was taken at their daycare (no smiles) about a week before "the trim". They're a little over 2 1/2 years old. My Sweeties!!!!
Next.......... the freeze of Easter weekend 2007 .......... the Chestnut trees, Persimmon trees, Oak trees all are in shock. They were just starting to put out their delicate new leaves when we had 26 degree temps. Now all the new growth has died and turned crusty brown. Will they try again ? Will the whole tree die ? No sign of tender growth yet. The Hosta also got bit..........resembled frozen lettuce heads.
I'm still managing the Used Car Sales business. Since I have a pair of super employees, I am taking opportunities in giving myself an extra "day off", or two, each week. There is still A LOT to take care of in personal matters.........of Ronnie's things, etc. etc. etc........ there is ALWAYS something cropping up that cries out "you must deal with me!!!!! NOW". Will it ever end?????? I assume not. There is no end in sight.
