Just a short note. Thursday evening a tip to the ER around 7:00 p.m.. Stomach pains and low grade fever. Then wait, wait, and more wait in ER waiting room. Finally shuffled back to exam room. Wait for ER Dr. Conclusion, might be my appendix. Admitted and up to room at 1:30 (Friday morning). Surgeon made morning rounds, my pain eased most times but still had spells of tremendous pain. Surgeon told me to walk around, try to get it pain again. Surgeon came back after lunchtime (but I had had no water, no nothing by mouth since Thursday lunch), he decided we gonna do surgery NOW. Surgery took place Friday afternoon, 1:30. Out of recovery at3:30. Spent another restless night in hospital. Came home Saturday mid morning. Results.......A-OK now.......minus one appendix for me.
( I saw brother Friday evening. Had a nice quick chat. The knock-out drugs was not completely warn off yet, but were starting to, so I remembered THAT conversion)

And here you are posting already. :) I am so glad that you are doing well. Don't you love the doctor's advice to walk around so the pain would come again???
Take care of yourself and don't try to recover too quickly.

Wow.... glad you are ok. Hope you don't have to use up to much of your sick leave... wouldn't want you to miss your retirement date! Let me know if you need anything!
